I found that the quality of this shinai bag is truly wonderful. It has a thick exterior and it has a special lining in the inside of the bag, possibly for protection for rain/water. The look of it gives off a nostalgic appearance to the old feudal days. It could easily hold more than 2 shinais. I am going to get heads turning during the Japanese Garden Festival this year. With the embroidery, which is quite large and noticeable, gives it a personal touch to ownership. Too bad they don't have the other designs but I am deeply satisfied with this one. An A+ product.

Greates Shinai Bag Of All Times |

The Sakabukuro Shinai Bag which I received is worth every cent. Do not fear the price, it is completly worth it. The bag is heavy duty made in superb quality. It just feels and looks great. It already proved to protect my precious bokken and shinai in heavy rain.
The bag can take 3 shinai easily. I carry often 2 shinai and 1 bokken. But it will also carry 1 shinai and one bokken with tsuba still attached.

I must agree with the anonymous reviewer from Germany, this Shinai Bag is of great quality, with lots of room for three Shinai's.
I have not yet tested it in rainy weather, but since the inside of the bag is made of nylon, I could only imagine that it would be waterproof.
The thing I especially like about the bag is the reinforced bottom, but also the look and feel of it is very traditional.
As an extra plus I got an embroidery of my Dojo's name and my own name on the bag, which I can only recommend. Each letter/symbol is 2x2cm.
All in all a great Shinai Bag if you like the traditional look of the bag.
